PBS Kids renews Fred Rogers’ series

Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood includes music and stories

PBS Kids in the US has commissioned Pittsburgh-based The Fred Rogers Company to produce more episodes of its educational series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Odd Squad.

The third, 20-episode season of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood will again feature a mix of stories and music, while the second, 25-episode season of Odd Squad will bring more mathematics-based entertainment to school-age viewers.

Both of the new seasons will begin rolling out next year. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is produced alongside Out of the Blue Enterprises and 9 Story Entertainment, while live-action show Odd Squad is made alongside Sinking Ship Entertainment.
