Passion parades docs for MipTV

Tinopolis-owned UK sales house Passion Distribution is leading its MipTV slate with two medical series and a show about dating.

Dr Christian Will See You Now launched in March on UKTV’s W channel

Dr Christian Will See You Now (10×60’) is from UK prodco Firecracker Films and launched this month on UKTV’s W channel. It follows Dr Christian Jessen as he helps patients on the way to overcoming their life-changing conditions.

Don’t Tell The Doctor (10×60’), meanwhile, is from the UK’s Arrow Media and follows four doctors who help young people who have used the internet for diagnosis, with disastrous consequences.

Also on Passion’s slate is constructed documentary Spies (4×60’ and format), which tests contestants’ espionage skills. It was produced by Minnow Films and GroupM Entertainment for Channel 4 and debuted in January.

Elsewhere, The Game of Dating (8×60’ and format), from A Smith & Co, sees teams of friends and family watch dates and compete to win grand prizes. Returning entertainment series include the rebooted Robot Wars (6×60’), from Mentorn Scotland, and factual entertainment series Find It, Fix It, Flog It (20×60′), from London’s HCA Entertainment.
