Original Media grows team

Original Media co-presidents and CEOs Steven Weinstock and Glenda Hersh

Original Media, the Endemol Shine-owned US prodco behind Ink Master, has bolstered its production and creative teams.

Brenda Hurley has been named chief operating officer (COO) of Original Media and True Entertainment, both subsidiary prodcos of Endemol Shine North America.

She was previously COO at True Entertainment and will now oversee all daily operations for both companies, including production, finance, accounting and human resources.

Prior to True Entertainment, Hurley was VP of production and entertainment at National Video Center, a television production and post-production facility.

Meanwhile, Nikki Borrelli has been named senior VP of production and operations at Original Media after moving from her VP of production role at True Entertainment.

Todd Hurvitz is now senior VP of current programming at Original Media, while Lisa Bloch is VP of current programming.

The appointments were made by Original Media co-presidents and CEOs Steven Weinstock and Glenda Hersh, who assumed control of the company in March.

Weinstock and Hersh co-founded True Entertainment in 2000, which was acquired by Endemol in 2003, before also taking the helm at Original Media.

Original Media was founded by Charlie Corwin and Clara Markowicz.
