ORF sells to Arte, Olympusat, Ceska Televize

Broadcasters in Europe have acquired blue-chip factual programming from Austria’s ORF Enterprise during this month’s Natpe Budapest and Sunny Side of the Doc markets.

Czech broadcaster Ceska Televize has picked up three history programmes with an Austrian focus: The Queen of Vienna: Anna Sacher & Her Hotel; The Last Emperor: Franz Joseph I. Between Power & Powerlessness; and Austria From Above: Jewel of the Country.

Meanwhile, Arte in France has acquired two recent 4K productions from ORF’s Universum natural history unit, Stars & Stripes and High Life at Low Temperatures.

Elsewhere, Spanish-language faith and family networks distribution specialist Olympusat in the US has taken a package of wildlife programming, movies and series totalling 130 hours from the distributor.
