Ollie & Moon rise in China

The Ollie & Moon Show

Beijing-based family entertainment company UYoung has picked up the SVoD, broadcast and licensing rights to French toon The Ollie & Moon Show.

UYoung will represent the 52×11′ show, which comes from France’s Federation Kids & Family and its sister production company Cottonwood Media, in mainland China.

The Ollie & Moon Show is based on the books of the same name, which were created by author and illustrator Diane Kredensor. It follows two cute and kooky cats, one carefree and the other more practical, as they enjoy globetrotting adventures.

It has previously been acquired by broadcasters including Universal Kids in the US, Netflix in the US and Canada, France Télévisions and VRT in Belgium.

The deal with UYoung marks Cottonwood Media and Federation Kids & Family’s first move into China.
