Okidoki to Amazon Channels Germany

MIPTV: French digital distribution firm Alchimie has agreed a deal with Amazon to offer its children’s VoD network Okidoki on Amazon Channels in Germany.

Okidoki features a selection of animation, live action and educational programmes for three- to 10-year-olds and will be available to German-speaking children for €4.99 (US$6.03) per month.

The ad-free service includes shows such as Molang, Tom the Truck, Hospital Hilltop and Corneil & Bernie.

It is one of a range of thematic channels curated, aggregated, packaged and distributed by Alchimie, such as MMA channel Fight Club, interior design channel InterieursTV and outdoor sports channel Speed & Race.

The launch of Okidoki on Amazon Channels in Germany follows the service being made available via Amazon Channels in the UK towards the end of 2017.
