Nimble on Knees for MacDonald novel

Fledgling Canadian production outfit Nimble has acquired the TV rights to an international bestselling novel.

Nimble Productions, run by former Corus Entertainment executive Sharon Mustos, will develop a miniseries based on Ann-Marie MacDonald’s novel Fall on Your Knees.

The book was first released by Knopf Canada in 1996 and has since been published in 23 territories and 19 languages. The story is set in a coal mining community and focuses on the relationship between sisters and their father.

Nimble Productions is the recently formed independent production arm of TeamSharon.biz, a business affairs company for indie TV producers.
