Nickelodeon snaps up Korean jelly toon

Zelly Go

MIPCOM: Viacom-owned international kids’ network Nickelodeon has picked up a Korean animated series for its pay channels worldwide in a deal with Spain-based distributor Imira Entertainment.

The pay TV deal for Zelly Go (104×1’30”) covers Nickelodeon channels in 150-plus territories spanning EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific. The series will launch on the channels in early 2018.

The non-dialogue slapstick comedy is produced by Korean studio Dream Factory. Imira holds global distribution rights.

The show features a group of jelly-obsessed little men and their attempts to enter the world’s last remaining giant jelly capsule to devour its contents.
