Nickelodeon signs up for High School

US children’s network Nickelodeon has added a show from the executive producer behind Big Time Rush to its live-action line up.

100 Things to do Before High School (26×30′) is being produced by Scott Fellows and explores the adventures of three friends dealing with the travails of the US education system.

Fellows has previously worked on DHX Media’s Johnny Test and was also a writer on The Fairly Odd Parents.

The show will start production in LA in the fall and is the first order for Nickelodeon since the exit of Brian Wright, the firm’s former senior VP of live-action development, who joined Netflix in May.

It’s the latest live-action show for Nickelodeon, which already has Henry Danger on its slate as well as the forthcoming Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn.
