Nick Jr adds Peppa in France

NEWS BRIEF: Nickelodeon has acquired hit preschool property Peppa Pig for another of its Nick Jr feeds, having previously picked up rights from distributor Entertainment One (eOne) for the US, UK and Netherlands.

The toon, produced by UK prodco Astley Baker Davis, will begin airing on Nick Jr in France on March 31. The series launched on free-to-air channel France 5 last month.
