Broadcasters in Canada, Venezuela and France have picked up a mixture of animated and live-action content from kids’ channel Nickelodeon.

Vrak TV in Canada has acquired rights to mystery drama House of Anubis (season two) and the first season of sitcom Haunted Hathaways while Venezuelan free-to-air channel Venevision has acquired comedy Every Witch Way (season one).

The latter property has also been licensed by Trinidad-based TV station Caribbean New Media Group, which has also taken seasons two and three of teen sitcom iCarly and seasons one and two of action sitcom Supah Ninjas.

Meanwhile in Spain, state-owned broadcaster TVE has taken Monsters vs Aliens (season one) for its ClanTV channel, while compatriot broadcaster Atresmedia has secured rights to Sanjay & Craig (season one) for its kids block on Neox Kidz.

Further north, French broadcaster Lagardère has also bought Monsters vs Aliens while pubcaster France TV has taken the second season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Meanwhile, Icelandic public broadcaster RUV has invested in the first season of Sanjay & Craig and Italy’s RaiTV has bought Legend of Korra (seasons one and two).

In Hungary, RTL Klub has acquired the first two seasons of The Penguins of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda (season two), while TMNT (season one) has been acquired by Menart in Slovenia and Bosnia.
