Axis of Comedy looks for laughs

New York-based online media company For Your Imagination has launched an internet video venture called Axis of Comedy.

As well as including some of the company's own online comedies, such as Break a Leg and The Patrice Oneal Show, it also features web hits Goodnight Burbank and The Burg.

The launch took place at the New York Television Festival this week with The Burg's creators Thom Woodley and Kathleen Grace of fellow NY firm Dinosaur Diorama – now working with Michael Eisner's Vuguru – in attendance.

Axisofcomedy.tv has been in soft-launch mode since the summer, but For Your Imagination is now beginning to push the service to the ad community, claiming it has already clocked up 15 million views.
