Nelvana strikes trio of Oz deals Nelvana Enterprises has struck deals with Australian broadcasters ABC TV, Playhouse Disney and Nickelodeon.ABC3, the new kid-targeted digital and online channel set to launch next month, has picked up Nelvana’s new series Spliced!, plus fresh episodes of 6teen, Class of the Titans and Jane and the Dragon (co-produced with New Zealand's Weta Productions). ABC2, meanwhile, has taken 65 episodes each of Babar and Franklin for a fall 2009 start. The new CGI version of Babar, now in production, is also heading to ABC TV in 2010 as part of the deal.
