US nets reveal pilot pick-ups Three of the Big Four US broadcast networks, Fox, ABC and NBC, have picked up a total of six drama and comedy pilots between them. Fox has gone for crime procedural Breakout Kings and comedies Most Likely to Succeed and Traffic Light; NBC has picked up comedies Nature vs Nurture and This Little Piggy; and ABC has taken psychological drama Edgar Floats. Breakout Kings, created by Prison Break's Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora, is a procedural about ex-fugitives who work as US marshals. It was originally given a script commitment by Fox last August, with a penalty clause attached if it wasn't piloted. Twentieth Century Fox Television is producing. Also, Imagine Television and Fox have hooked up for David Walpert's (Scrubs) Most Likely to Succeed, a multi-camera comedy about a group of young friends dealing with adulthood. Imagine's David Nevins and Brian Grazer are executive producing alongside Walpert. Traffic Light is based on an Israeli format and has been adapted by Wedding Crasher writer Bob Fisher, with 20th Century Fox onboard to produce. At NBC, Nature vs Nurture is a multi-camera comedy about a heart surgeon who discovers he has three low-achieving siblings. Created by David Guarascio and Moses Port, who also executive produce, the pilot is being made by Peacock Productions and Sony Pictures Television. NBC's second new comedy, This Little Piggy, was produced by ABC Studios, and was created by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley, who also executive produce. The pilot focuses on two adult siblings who move in with their elder brother. ABC drama Edgar Floats, helmed by Life creator Rand Ravich, follows a police psychologist who becomes a bounty hunter. It is being executive produced by another Life alumnus, Far Shariat, with Warner Bros Television onboard to produce. ABC has also greenlit the sixth season of Lost, set to air later this year.
