Shatner format beams down onto GSN US games network GSN has acquired off-network rights to William Shatner-hosted gameshow Show Me the Money from Disney-ABC Domestic Television (fka Buena Vista Television). GSN has acquired seven episodes of the show, which ran in primetime on ABC late last year. It will air at 20.00 on Tuesdays starting June 12, with two never-seen-before episodes also acquired. Money is produced by Endemol USA and was devised by Deal or No Deal creator Dick de Rijk. It features former Captain Kirk Shatner with "million-dollar" dancers onstage as spontaneous dance partners and onstage helpers. The contestants choose a dancer, each of whom holds a dollar figure, and are asked a trivia question. If they get it right that sum is added to their total, if they're wrong, they lose that amount. Each contestant must answer five questions. 22 May 2007 © C21 Media 2007 |
