Adult Season returns to BBC3 UK digital network BBC3 is to air another two-week Adult Season block of programmes exploring the pressures of growing up. The network said a similar documentary-led block produced its highest-ever two weeks of ratings last summer. Heading the 2010 season will be a four-film series called My Mum and Me, featuring celebrity personalities who explore their relationships with their mothers. The first is called Tulisa: Crazy About Mum, which follows the relationship of British singer Tulisa, of urban group N-Dubz, and her mother, who suffered from schizo-affective disorder. Mentorn Media has been signed up to produce, with Hannah Wyatt executive producing.The other programmes are Nine Lives Media's Small Team Big World (working title), about a mother affected by dwafism; a BBC Vision show about former England soccer star Gary Lineker's wife Danielle; and Firecracker's Mum, Modelling and Me (wt), about tabloid newspaper pin-up Alicia Douvall. Samantha Anstiss is the series' commissioning executive producer. Also part of Adult Season are single docs The Blind Me, from Firecracker; Alice and Her Six Dads, from Raw TV; and Baby Beauty Queens, produced by Landmark Films.
