C4's Book Club turns over new leaf Channel 4's The TV Book Club is to return without previous presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, marking its More4 diginet's first foray into ad-funded programming. Backed by retailer Specsavers, The TV Book Club will air on the UK broadcaster's More4 channel, with repeats on flagship terrestrial C4 the following lunchtime, from January 2010. Presenters lined up for the show, produced by Cactus TV, include Jo Brand, Gok Wan, Laila Rouass, Dave Spikey and Nathaniel Parker. As well as discussing one book per week, each episode will feature an author selected from a previous Book Club series who will reveal how the programme changed their lives.
