Marble hires for brand play MarbleMedia, the Canadian producer of kids series This is Daniel Cook, has hired an 18-year advertising veteran to take the company into the world of branded entertainment. As director of brand integration, Lisa Reis will "offer opportunities for brands to connect with consumers via seamless integration in quality Canadian entertainment," according to the firm. Reis said her role would be to "create fresh programming that crosses TV, online, mobile, gaming, social networking and other forms of emerging media." The Toronto company is currently in talks with several partners regarding branded entertainment initiatives for upcoming projects such as comedy The Dating Guy, airing on Teletoon in the autumn of 2010. Likewise, the company is looking to bring brands into its gameshow Just Like Mom and Dad, currently in development. "This does not mean we will compromise the integrity of our programming in any way," said MarbleMedia executive producer and co-founder Mark Bishop.
