Optomen on sales trail Optomen International is heading to Discop East this month with a number of deals totalling more than 150 hours already sewn up in Eastern Europe. The first is a major deal with Menu TV in Ukraine for Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The broadcaster has licensed both the UK and US versions, making up 80 hours of programming, plus a further eight hours of food format Gordon Ramsay Cookalong Live. ![]() Elsewhere, TVN in Poland has renewed its format licence for Jamie Oliver's The Naked Chef. The Polish broadcaster has also licensed the first series of Kitchen Nightmares USA. TV Paprika, which broadcasts in Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia, has picked up the first two UK series of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and has re-licensed the first series of The F Word. BBC Channels in Poland has signed for a new package of programming that will see the 12x60' The F Word Series, the 1x60' Best of The F Word one-hour special, Cookalong Live, Kitchen Nightmares USA season two and both What To Eat Now series all heading for Polish screens. BBC Poland will also air the second series of Mary, Queen of Shops, along with Mary, Queen of Shops: Vintage Edition. Finally, Optomen is offering Channel 4's Heston's Feast, featuring top chef Heston Blumenthal, to its slate.
