Thrilling series debut on Discovery Two new thrill-based factual entertainment series from US indies will premiere on US cable network Discovery in the last week of January. The Detonators (13x60') will debut at 20.00 on Wednesday January 28. The series, from RDF USA (Wife Swap) and its subsidiary IWC (Location, Location, Location), will follow explosives experts Dr Braden Lusk and Dr Paul Worsey as they look at how expert blasters fell structures like skyscrapers, bridges and sports stadiums. Each episode will feature two demolitions that are related in some way, beginning with two different steel structures in episode one. The series will be produced by Beth Dietrich for Discovery, RDF USA's Charles Tremayne and Rachel Bell for IWC. Two days later, Discovery will premiere Adrenaline Rush Hour at 21.00. This new caught-on-camera show from genre veteran Nash Entertainment (Most Shocking...) captures stunts going wrong, from racing car drivers slamming into barriers at high speed to a kiteboarder hitting the side of a house.
