ER's George swings into new territories Key Entertainment Rights properties, including Postman Pat, George of the Jungle, Toopy and Binoo and Casper's Scare School, have become the subject of a raft of deals and negotiations following MipTV. These broadcasters join France 3 and France 5, where the series launched in October 2007, as well as Super RTL in Germany. New computer-generated animated series Casper's Scare School, currently in production for TF1 in France and for Cartoon Network Europe was sold to Netherlands (Jetix), Denmark (DR.TV), Finland (MYV 3), Norway (NRK) and the Middle East (Cartoon Network). In addition, ER said it is in negotiations about BBC commission Postman Pat with broadcast partners in Denmark, Sweden, Australia, pan-regionally in the Middle East and in Iceland. Toopy and Binoo, based on the Canadian children's books by author Dominque Jolin, was another good performer for ER. Negotiations are currently taking place over the property in Korea and with a commercial free-TV channel in the Middle East. The show's existing broadcaster are Cartoon Network (Latin America), Rai Sat (Italy), Tiji (France), RTP (Portugal) and Kids Central (Singapore), while in the US, PBS acts as the brand's exclusive online and video distribution partner.
