2DTV heads for South Africa South Africa has become the latest country to take ITV's animated satire 2DTV, created and produced by 2DTV Ltd, after ID Distribution stuck a deal with MNET. The politically-driven cartoon sketch show has been sold to MNET as both the completed series and with an option for the South African company to produce its own localised segments. MNET joins a growing list of broadcasters around the globe to take 2DTV, including AB Sat in France, Premium Films in Croatia, Pro7 in Germany and UBC in Thailand. The series has become one of the most successful UK animated series ever, having started life out on ITV1 and securing itself a five series run. 29 Jul 2005 © C21 Media 2005 |
