Newen to sell Lincoln thriller

French prodco Newen has signed an agreement to handle distribution of a forthcoming thriller from Christine de Bourbon Busset’s Lincoln TV.

Newen Distribution will handle international sales of Beyond the Walls (3×60′), which has been created by Hervé Hadmar and Marc Herpoux (Witnesses) and co-written with Sylvie Chanteux for Franco-German cultural network Arte.

The show, which goes into production in Belgium this summer, explores the life of a woman who inherits an abandoned house, only to find that it is home to a labyrinth full of otherworldly creatures.

Lincoln has been behind dramas including Pigalle by Night for Canal+ and Les Beaux Mecs for France 2, while Newen worked with Hadmar on Witnesses, which has sold in the UK, Poland, Germany and Norway.
