Nevision, Content walk with Manolo

UK-based production and financing outfit Nevision Studios has started work on a one-off doc about contemporary fashion icon Manolo Blahnik.

Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards is being directed by Michael Roberts and produced by Nevision, with James Cabourne, Tiggy Maconochie and Anne Morrison attached as exec producers.

Content Media has acquired worldwide sales rights to the doc and will begin introducing it to distributors in Berlin during the European Film Market next month.

The show is an in-depth portrait of the designer, who is famed for his footwear brand that featured on TV series Sex and the City, and includes appearances from fashion icons such as Anna Wintour, Andre Leon Talley, Paloma Picasso and David Bailey.
