Netflix reveals House of Cards 3 date

US streaming giant Netflix has unveiled the premiere date for the third season of political drama House of Cards.

The Washington DC thriller, which stars Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey as devious US politician Frank Underwood, will be released to Netflix subscribers in all territories on February 27, according to a teaser trailer released yesterday.

The third season was commissioned two weeks before the second premiered earlier this year.
