Netflix has renewed its Will Arnett-starring comedy Flaked for a second season.

The show, from US studios Electus and Principato-Young Entertainment, sees the actor play a self-appointed guru who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination.

The US SVoD service used its Facebook page to announced that the comedy will return in 2017.

Arnett (The Millers) also voices the lead character in Netflix original animated series BoJack Horseman, recently renewed for a fourth season, and played a major role in Arrested Development.

The actor exec produces Flaked along with Mark Chappell (The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret), who co-created and co-wrote the series.

Also serving as exec producers are Ben Silverman, Peter Principato and Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz.

Netflix yesterday announced it was launching an original animated series for kids based on the iconic Motown music label.
