Netflix renews Ansari comedy

Netflix has renewed Aziz Ansari comedy series Master of None for a second season.

The second run of the series, which follows the professional life of a 30-year-old actor in New York, will launch on the US SVoD service next year. Its first season was released last November.

The single-camera comedy hails from Oh Brudder Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment, Fremulon and Universal Television.

Last week, Netflix ordered three more seasons of its original comedy-drama Orange is the New Black.
