Netflix greenlights Pitt project

Netflix has ordered a drama series from Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment and Anonymous Content for a 2016 release.

Brit Marling in Another Earth

The OA, full details of which are yet to be released, will be an eight-episode series with some mystery elements.

The drama will star indie actress Brit Marling (Another Earth), who will also be a writer and exec producer on the project, along with Zal Batmanglij.

Marling and Batmanglij previously worked together on feature films Another Earth and Sound of My Voice, both of which were screened at Sundance in 2011. This marks their first project for the small screen.

Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner are exec producers from Pitt’s Plan B, and Michael Sugar, partner at Anonymous Content, also executive produces.
