NEWS BRIEF: NBC in the US has extended sitcom The Good Place into a third season.

The show, from Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Michael Schur, exec producer of Parks & Recreation, follows a woman who tries to make amends in the afterlife having been unpleasant while alive. NBCUniversal TV Distribution has global rights.
