Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late-night programming at NBC Entertainment, has confirmed a second eight-episode order has been placed with the show’s distributor Armoza Formats.

NBC’s version takes six celebrities and each week pairs them up to master a difficult act over the course of five days. They must then demonstrate their newly acquired skills in front of a live studio audience, with the public voting for the best performance. Singer Nicole Scherzinger was the top-scoring entertainer in season one.

Armoza has shopped the format, which can also feature members of the public as contestants, to more than 15 countries around the world. Local versions exist in Italy, Brazil, Spain, Finland and Mexico, among others.
