NBC bags more Blindspot

US network NBC has ordered nine additional episodes of its drama Blindspot.

Blindspot, from Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash), follows a woman with amnesia whose tattoos hold the secret to an international crime.

The first season initially comprised 13 episodes but this has now been extended to 22 following strong ratings.

Warner Bros Television and Berlanti Productions are producing the show. Martin Gero is the writer and shares exec production with Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and director Mark Pellington. The cast includes Sullivan Stapleton, Jaimie Alexander and Audrey Esparza.
