Natpe puts focus on int’l copros

Natpe Europe will partner with Studio Canal-owned Tandem Communications and its president Rola Bauer on a summit focusing on international copros this year.

Now, the Story Starts in Europe! will feature contributions from network execs actively involved in international coproductions, European prodcos, as well as European and US showrunners.

The summit will be held on the morning of Tuesday June 24, the second day of Natpe Europe, which takes place in Prague for the first time this year.

Bauer is exec producer of Crossing Lines, which recently wrapped production on its second season, and the recently greenlit Canal+ series Spotless.

“We are building an extremely high level panel which will reveal best practice for all facets of the international coproduction business and discuss how the multiple parts of the puzzle must fit to realize the best possible creative results as well as the all important return on investment,” said Rod Perth, president and CEO of Natpe.
