National Treasure goes to Super, ABC

Super Channel in Canada, ABC in Australia and TVNZ are among the international broadcasters to have acquired Channel 4 drama National Treasure from distributor All3Media International.

The four-part series was produced by The Forge for C4 and premiered in the UK last year. The plot focuses on a veteran TV comedian, played by Robbie Coltrane, who finds himself accused of historic sex offences.

Ahead of the MipTV market in Cannes next month, All3Media International has also sealed deals for the show in Spain with Comunidad Filmin, in Croatia with public broadcaster HRT, in Iceland with RUV and in Finland with YLE.

National Treasure was written by This is England scribe Jack Thorne and executive produced by George Faber. It was previously picked up for broadcast in the US by streaming service Hulu.
