Nat Geo tells Frank’s Holocaust story

National Geographic Channel in the US is preparing a two-hour special telling the stories of the Holocaust through the eyes of Anne Frank.

Anne Frank’s Holocaust will premiere on Sunday June 21 at 21.00 in memory of the young diarist who was among the six million Jewish victims of the Nazis’ final solution.

Frank’s diary, written as her family hid during the occupation of Holland in an Amsterdam attic, is well known but the story of what happened after she was captured reveals the atrocities encountered by millions of other Jews during the Second World War.

The tragic tale will be the focus of this one-off doc, produced by Creative Differences Productions with Erik Nelson and Dave Harding executive producing.

The executive producer for National Geographic Channel is Char Serwa and Tim Pastore is president of original programming and production.
