Nat Geo Kids preps Lat Am puppets

Estudios TeleMéxico’s educational puppet show Opa Popa Dupa

Nat Geo Kids, the children’s channel from National Geographic Partners in Latin America, has ordered an original preschool puppet show for its linear and digital channels.

Opa Popa Dupa (26×30’) is being produced by Estudios TeleMéxico and will feature 15 characters to educate kids about the world.

The personalities range from an actor lion and a YouTube vlogging gorilla to a music-loving flower and two young National Geographic-branded explorers.

The show will also see more than 100 Latin American celebrities appear throughout the series to enhance the show’s educational message.

Opa Popa Dupa will premiere this year on the Nat Geo Kids linear channel as well as the app and digital platforms.
