MTV culls Teen Wolf

Teen Wolf will end with its sixth run

US cablenet MTV has called time on its horror drama Teen Wolf and will end the series after its 100th episode in 2017.

MTV has ordered a sixth season made up of 20 episodes, which will begin airing in November alongside the network’s recently greenlit scripted series Sweet/Vicious.

Loosely based on the 1985 film starring Michael J Fox, Teen Wolf is coproduced and distributed by MGM in association with Lost Marbles Productions, Siesta Productions, First Cause and ITV-owned DiGa.

It was developed by Criminal Minds creator Jeff Davis, who is also executive producer alongside Russell Mulcahy Joe Genier, Marty Adelstein, René Echevarria, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley and Tim Andrew.
