Canal+’s The Bureau is due to enter its third season

Spanish broadcaster Movistar+ has picked up rights to Canal+ original drama series The Bureau.

The Bureau was created by Éric Rochant and produced by Alex Berger and Éric Rochant for The Oligarchs Productions, in association with Paris- and LA-based film and TV studio Federation Entertainment.

Movistar+ has acquired the first two seasons and pre-bought season three, while Arrow Film has acquired UK video rights to the first two seasons for a release in the first quarter of this year.

The show has already aired on Channel One in Russia, Sundance Now in the US and Rialto Channel in New Zealand, which has pre-bought the third season. Federation handles worldwide rights excluding French-speaking territories, which are being negotiated by StudioCanal.

Amazon UK, Germany’s RTL Crime and Sky Italy are among those to have already acquired rights to The Bureau’s first two seasons.
