MoMedia takes Babar to new territories

Distributor MoMedia has signed multiple deals taking several established and digital-first animation brands to new global markets.

MoMedia will represent Canadian animation company Nelvana’s Babar & the Adventures of Badou (26×24’) and Little Charmers (80×11’) for distribution on both local and worldwide SVoD streaming platforms.

The London-based distributor has already sold both series to Scandinavian SVoD service Viaplay Nordic.

Africa’s MTN Group has also acquired a package of kids’ brands for its 230 million subscribers across 20 countries.

Among other titles covered by the deal are Outfit7’s Talking Tom and Friends, Zinkia Entertainment’s Pocoyo, Hasbro’s Transformers, language-education platform Badanamu and Creative Media Partners’ CG animated-comedy series Sinbad & the 7 Galaxies.
