MoMedia names development boss

Endemol Shine-backed digital distributor MoMedia has hired an exec from Greek broadcaster Antenna Group for a newly created role at the company.

Nelly Voukaki joins the UK-based outfit as head of business development after spending the past nine years in various roles at Antenna Group, including head of Europe for its pay TV division.

Voukaki will report to MoMedia CEO Lucas Bertrand and has been tasked with bringing new brand partners and lines of revenue to the firm.

MoMedia distributes documentaries, kids’ TV programming and localised Hollywood content across global and local VoD platforms.

It currently oversees digital distribution of kids’ brands such as Transformers: Rescue Bots, Postman Pat and Pocoyo for clients including Hasbro Studios, Dreamworks Classics and Zinkia Entertainment.

Bertrand founded the company in 2005 after leaving Australian TV production/distribution business World Wide Entertainment and subsequently received investment from companies such as Endemol Shine Group.
