Miramax hires Marvel, ABC execs

US film and TV producer Miramax has appointed veteran executives from Marvel Television and ABC Studios.

Marvel’s Sam Bramhall has joined Miramax as executive VP of television business affairs, while Caitlin Foito has arrived from ABC as senior VP of development, focusing on television.

The hires were made by Lauren Whitney, Miramax’s president of television, who joined the company from US studio Legendary in October 2017.

LA-based Miramax, part of the beIN Media Group, tapped Bill Block as CEO in April last year.
