The Business of Scripted, which takes place in Copenhagen on June 8 and 9, will feature international speakers such as ITV Studios’ Maria Kyriacou, The Man in the High Castle showrunner Frank Spotnitz, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Diego Suarez Chialvo and BBC Worldwide’s Ben Donald.

Focusing on improving understanding of international finance models and coproduction, the event takes place at The Admiral Hotel and is produced in association with local broadcasters and institutions.

Others due to feature include Sky Vision’s Kylie Munnich, the Danish Film Institute’s Claus Ladegaard, Yellow Bird’s Marianne Gray and Thomas Gammeltoft, CEO of the Copenhagen Film Fund.

MediaXchange CEO Katrina Wood, told C21: “The Business of Scripted is all about ‘cracking the code’ and developing projects that are truly international in their DNA.

“Scandinavia has become an impressive producer of quality drama, partly because of the way development is constructed. There is credibility in Scandianvia, which is why we have based the event here.”

The full list of speakers for the event, on which C21 is media partner, can be accessed here.
