MediaWorks gets Married in NZ

Married at First Sight

MediaWorks in New Zealand has ordered a local version of Red Arrow International format Married at First Sight.

The show, which sees a team of experts selecting partners who meet for the first time at the altar, will air on MediaWorks’ channel Three between October and December.

It was created by Snowman Productions for DR1 in Denmark and has been remade globally including on A+E Networks’ US channel FYI, where it has already been greenlit for a fifth season.

MediaWorks has previously aired the Australian version of the show, which is into its fourth season on Nine Network. The Kiwi firm has also picked up all English-language tape versions of Married at First Sight – including the US and UK shows – as part of this latest agreement.

The deal was completed by Red Arrow International’s VP of sales for Asia Pacific, Jamie I.
