MacFarlane visits space for Fox

Fox in the US has made a straight-to-series order for Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s first live-action scripted show.

The untitled 13×60’ series has been slated to air in 2017/2018 and follows the exploits of a spaceship operating 300 years in the future.

It’s being produced by 20th Century Fox TV, with MacFarlane starring and exec producing.

MacFarlane has a first-look deal with the studio and has previously worked on Bordertown and docuseries Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey for Fox, as well as American Dad for TBS.
