LSP lands drone order from TERN

Specialist 4K broadcaster TERN International has commissioned UK factual indie LSP TV to make two shows for its ultra-high-definition channel Insight.

LSP is first working on Rotor Rage (6×60’) with executive producer Marc Hayward. The drone racing series will see pilots navigate taxing airborne obstacle courses at high speed.

The show will also be shot in 360º format to provide virtual reality experiences through headsets.

King of the Hammers (8×60’), meanwhile, will be filmed between February and October with Chris Hook (Top Gear) directing. The series focuses on a form of extreme off-road rally car racing.

NBC Sport will show the two series in the US while CCTV1 has picked up King of the Hammers in China.
