Jeremy Mills, who co-founded Lion Television in 1997 before selling it to All3Media, is taking the newly created role, advising the company on its strategic growth as it moves towards the next phase of development.

Mills’ 30-year career in the industry saw him spend 18 years at the BBC, including as one of the youngest ever directors of The Nine O’Clock News. He was also series producer and executive producer for the BBC documentary department.

Woodcut was formed last year, with Kate Beal as CEO, when Sithcombe Productions bought out her prodco Talent TV South from Talent Television and rebranded.
