French-Canadian media group and channels operator Quebecor Content has picked up the rights to CBS’s new drama Limitless.

Distributor CBS Studios International has secured the deal, following the show’s premiere in the US in September last year where it attracted an average audience of 11.6 million viewers.

Limitless has been sold to more than 200 territories and was named Best Fall Season Network Show at the C21 International Drama Awards in December.

The series follows on from the 2011 feature film of the same name, with lead character Brian Finch exploring the powers of a brain-boosting drug.

The show is produced by CBS Television Studios with K/O Paper Products and Relativity Television, which was this week rebranded as Critical Content.
