Lime fills top non-scripted role

All3Media-owned prodco Lime Pictures has appointed an executive producer at ITV Studios as its head of non-scripted programming in the UK.

Sarah Tyekiff will join the firm in September after six years at ITV Studios, where she is credited with leading the reboot of ITV2’s Love Island format.

Based in London, Tyekiff will oversee all of Lime’s non-scripted output and development projects and have overall responsibility for shows including The Only Way is Essex, Celebs Go Dating and Geordie Shore.

Lime’s joint MDs Kate Little and Claire Poyser said in a statement that the hire would help the prodco target its “sweet spot” of 16- to 34-years-olds.

Tyekiff replaces Derek McLean, who left Lime to co-found Bandicoot, a multi-genre prodco, alongside former NBCUniversal exec Daniel Nettleton with backing from UK superindie group Argonon.
