Lifetime spins Dance Moms

US cable network Lifetime has greenlit a new spin-off to its children’s reality show Dance Moms.

Abby’s Studio Rescue (7×60′) will feature coach and Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller as she transforms studios on the brink of ruin. The new show will debut in June and follow Miller as she dispenses advice to those running dance studios about how to make them a success.

The show is from Dance Moms production firm Collins Avenue, with Jeff Collins, Michael Hammond, Sandi Johnson and Bryan Stinson attached as executive producers.
