Lifetime follows troubled teens

US cable network Lifetime TV is taking a two-part special about badly behaved teenagers to series.

The A+E Networks-owned channel has ordered eight episodes of Teen Trouble from Ellen Rakieten Entertainment, a division of RelativityReal.

The programme, which follows teen behaviour specialist Josh Shipp as he embeds himself into the lives of self-destructive young people, originally aired as specials on November 2 and 9.

The 8×60′ series will premiere on Lifetime on Friday December 28 at 22.00 (ET/PT) and will be distributed internationally by A+E Networks.
