LG does ballet in South Korea

The parent company of South Korean electronics giant LG has acquired a selection of ballet-themed programmes from Singapore-based Bomanbridge Media.

LGU+ has taken the VoD rights to the titles Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, A Beauty is Born: Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty and The World of Matthew Bourne.

Each programme is produced by UK firm Leopard Films and distributed globally by Argonon International, which tapped Bomanbridge to represent them in Asia.

Bomanbridge has also struck a deal with Japanese outfit Tohokushinsha for Darcey’s Ballerina Heroines, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, A Beauty is Born: Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty and The World of Matthew Bourne.
